Who is Martyna Rucińska?

Martyna is the founder of Mów po polsku and a practising neurologopedic and speech therapist with a background in education. In her work she combines knowledge, experience and an individual approach to the needs of every child and family. She created Mów po polsku as a place for families living abroad who do not have easy access to a Polish-speaking speech therapist nearby. She makes sure online therapy is as close as possible to in-person sessions, and that children and parents feel safe and at ease.

She completed studies in speech therapy and neurologopedics, and has also trained in special education for people with intellectual disabilities and in the education and rehabilitation of children on the autism spectrum and with Asperger syndrome. She also supports parents, showing them how to develop their child's communication naturally during everyday activities.

Approach to therapy

What gives her the greatest satisfaction is seeing children gain confidence, communicate their needs more freely and joyfully discover what they are capable of. She believes that a good relationship with the child and their family, built on trust and mutual understanding, is the foundation of effective therapy.
